Back to school we go! June is in 1st grade, believe it or not. Her teacher at West Elementary, Ms. Weiser, is fantastic. June has come home every day very excited to tell me about her day, very tired and really happy to see Faye and Leon. She now takes chapter books to read on the bus, which she is very excited about. So far, I have had to wake this girl up every morning at 7:00. Rare thing for my early-rising Junebug.

The first day of school was a thunderstorm! (Note the dark photos.) We also had to chase down the bus a block and a half in the rain. It was 10 minutes early. Whoops!!
