It's ornament making time! June loves all of the holiday decorating and crafts we have been working on lately. Faye on the other hand likes to taste whatever art supply we use. It's fun to have such different girls. Keeps me on my toes!
While Faye was napping, June and I got out the polymer clay and cut shapes to bake. She did a lot of jumping up and down in front of the oven while she waited for her mermaid ornament to harden.
We had to "contain" Faye in her high chair for this painting project. She looooves to paint. I think we did this for little over an hour. Huge attention span for a 22 month old.
Finished pieces! June took hers to preschool for their tree. She walked in very excited that day to show Ms. Betsy.
Dear Santa, please bring me a new camera. This was the only decent shot of the girls with the Polk City Santa. Oh, well. We had our town lighting festival Tuesday. Santa was a big attraction. Faye was terrified, as predicted. June was quite serious about her request to him this year. She changed her mind in line about 4 times and then landed with asking for a Jasmine Polly Pocket doll out of the blue. Funny girl.
My girls are cleaning!! Wahoo! June begs to do dishes about 3xs a day.
Faye and her mop.
