June's first day of Optional Kindergarten (Preschool)!!! She is attending North Polk West Elementary this year. Even though she is technically in a pre-K program she still gets to have gym class, music class, art class, hot lunch (so funny), recess......she is going to have a blast. Her first day went great. Her only complaints were the noise level at recess and how hot it was outside. Not bad, huh? I sent her in cold turkey on the whole "hot lunch" thing. Luckily it was mac-n-cheese and Jello day. She loved it and even carried the tray by herself. During rest time she sang a song to her buddy that was having trouble sleeping. So sweet. June loves to take care of others. She was desperately missed by Faye. The sisters gave each other gigantic hugs when we picked June up from school. Love it.
