Pool time!

My girls and boy really enjoyed the water this weekend. We had a mini-family reunion with the Youngs and stayed at the plaza in KC. One of the big highlights for my kiddos was the hotel pool.

 Junebug has really perfected her canon ball and can opener dive. Talk about a fish! She swam more hours than she slept. Pruney Juney.

 Faye also really liked the water this time. I watched her giggle so hard at Uncle Jubil imitating a fish jumping out of the water...over and over and over and over.

 Leon even liked the water! Wow. He got to swim with Dad, his sisters and all of his bald cousins. Matt flipped him to his back and made his little legs flutter. So Funny.

Water babies!!

A few things worth mentioning that didn't make it on a camera:

1. Okay, whoever's kid left the giant floater in the pool...the hotel is really upset. Ha! Grandpa really got Matt with a classic prank. Prunes in the water look really believable. Matt was completely fooled and completely embarrassed. I'm sure he thought it leaked out of one of our kids. Phew!

2. Grandpa still has the moves. He can belly flop, dive, canon ball, jack knife, popeye, can opener....need I say more. WELL...the jumping party came to a quick halt when he decided it was a good idea to dive head first into the Dora inner tube. He became very STUCK. Let's just say he had his dinner in the lobby that night with a kids floaty around his waste. My husband has never laughed so hard in his life.
