Thank God it's Friday!! Whew. What a week it has been.

Below, June and Faye are playing in the new "nook" beside June's bed. June no longer sleeps with bed rails!! Wha-hooo! She is so excited. She told her preschool teacher all about it and about how she fits into her favorite polka dot socks now. :) The little things. I find it funny when she tells friends about what she got for Christmas, too. She gets really exited to tell in detail about her new toothbrush from Santa. Good old Santa, he's the best. :) Maybe the Easter Bunny will bring one too. Hmmm, wonder how long we can get away with that. Anyway, June celebrated her 1/2 birthday at school on Monday. She got to take Dad and treats to school and wear a crown. She felt pretty special.

Speaking of birthdays, Faye Luelle is almost 2. She has really blossomed into typical two-year old behavior this week as well. I cannot even describe the energy of this kid. She has a bit of a cold and with that comes "Faye-mode" as we call it. It's so interesting to have such different kids.
Anyone that thinks being a stay at home mom is a walk in the park....ha! It is Friday. To celebrate the weekend or recover from the week, I will be burning off steam at the gym for at least an hour, dressing in my most comfortable jammies, putting FAYE and June to bed early, having a popcorn and movie date with Matt and consuming at least a bottle of wine to get rid of my eye twitch. 5:45 am comes early.
